I can never forgot the morning on 19th August 2019, due to gas leak I had gone to switch off the gas suddenly the flames came on me. I quickly ran away and luckily the fire did not get on me but still I got burnt on my legs, hands & face. At that time it didn't seem much, immediately my husband drove me down to Asian Hospital Faridabad as this was the closest hospital near my house. When I reached the emergency section, I was given immediate first aid. At that time I got to know the burns I got was 30%. I was very nervous and scared as I was not sure of the medical treatment for burnt cases in Asian Hospital, however my doubts were soon cleared. I got done Vaser liposuction for my both thighs and both arms from Dr. Manish Nanda. This procedure did not take much time, only around 2-3 hours but the way it was done, brought a lot of joy and satisfaction. 2 days after this was done, i could see the change in my arms and thighs. I was asked to use compression garment for thighs and arms to bring down the body volume and it is working quite well. there was some swelling before which has subsided. In the month of July, we had to visit the Asian hospital, as my father-in-law Mr. LSM Salins was diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer in the maxillary area of the face. The tumor was supposed to be removed, which was a big deal as the left eye had to go. That was not the end of it, as following the tumor removal, a lengthy and complex reconstructive surgery had to follow. While the tumor removal took two hours, the major chunk of time was taken by the risky reconstructive surgery, that ran for 7 long hours. It was performed by Dr. Manish, who with his dexterous hands, was able to give the affected area (which comprised the entire left half of the face) its previous shape.
